Hazy dark straw color with a rich tight off white head. Sweet bready malt offset with spicy earthy tones and a hint of lemon. Pretty decent.

Draught @ Adelaide Brewpub: this one pours a hazy golden color with a tinge of orange. Thin white head with minimal lacing. The nose is good. Coriander, spice, orange and lemon. The taste is good. Wheat, orange and lemon, coriander, some spice. A touch bready. A good white.

I'm trying this at the Oakville location. It poured a cloudy yellow with no head and no lace. The scent had hints of wheat. The taste was yeasty. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it was ok.

Part of a sampler of 6 beers. Recognizable as a wheat beer and one of the better of the bunch. Not in the same class as a proper German, but passable enough. And drinkable.

Cloudy straw wheat beer. Very light nose is mostly wheat and lemon. Flavour is orangey citrus, banana, wheaty twang and cloves, definitely leaning towards the orange. Light body and sharp carbonation round out the refreshingness factor in this one. Crisp, fairly clean and very drinkable.

Appearance- very classic and good appearance of a wheat beer, a gold to yellowish color, very cloudy with almost no light being seen through, good look,
Smell- nice strong aroma, lemon, citrus, and wheat on first whiff, slight spice and coriander comes up slightly,
Taste- a solid example of a wheat beer with a kick of citrus and wheat backbone, the slight bitter finish adds a good balance to the sweetness, not bad
Mouthfeel- very light crisp and refreshing mouthfeel
Drinkability- this had a nice finish and had a very nice drinkability, would make a nice session at the bar

I worked across the street from this place for the 2 weeks I was in Toronto, and never had a chance during the day to pop in for a pint and some grub, as I don't recall this being here last year when I was doing the same thing. Having just come from Montreal, and having been warned against going to the Trois Brasseurs chain there, it was interesting seeing the English version so soon. Given its proximity to my hotel, and the desire for a late-evening beer, I thought, what the hell...
This beer appears a cloudy golden yellow colour, with two fingers of thin soapy white head, which leaves very little lace as it recedes. It smells of mild banana/yeast, and sweet white grain. The taste is strong yeast, banana, coriander, and some restrained floral hops. The carbonation is average, the body kind of thin, and pithy, and it finishes dry and fruity.
A decent, if not exactly eye-opening wheat ale.

Aroma that is wheaty, yeasty and also funky. Initially sourish wheat in mouthfeel, that is well malted. Some flavour, better as it warms. This beer is lacey. An ordinary wheat in the end, that is drinkable. Medium mouthfeel. As this brewpub is a step up, just that, from standard macro offerings, it is malted down to make a transition.
