Tap at 3 Brewers Heartland
Deep golden color bordering on amber with a rich white head that persists. Old school feel with lots of bready caramel and bits of citrus and pine to counter. Nothing earth shattering but easy drinking.

I'm trying this at the Oakville location. It poured a slightly hazy orangish with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had hints of pine. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink. There was pine resin presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it was a decent beer.

tap at the brewery

Pours a slightly hazy orange, fluffy white suds for a head.

Aroma of honey, citrus, and floral hops.

Piney hop flavor, biscuit malt with a touch of honey.

Medium body with tingly carbonation on the roof of the mouth.

Solid, enjoyable IPA. Good appearance and aroma and above average body. Flavor is a little boring comparatively. Worth having for IPA fans, nothing record-breaking.

9oz pour at their oakville location. november 25, 2014

a: hazy but kinda vibrant orange-yellow with a finger of fluffy white head

s: oddly yeasty, like a hefeweizen, with subdued piney and citrusy scents

t: lots of belgian yeast flavour -- no thanks. touches of piney, citrusy hops. medium bitterness. not-so-prevalent malt presence

m: light-to-medium body with medium, prickly carbonation

o: the hop flavours are subdued, the hefeweizen taste is odd, and the bitterness is too high. nothing about this beer is really offensive, but i just wouldn't drink it again
