Hopfingerbrau Im Hauptbahnhof

Stumbled upon this place as I was preparing for some train travel. Looks relatively new and seems to be a sister operation with a place in the Sony Center Potsdamer Place. Wait staff were friendly and prompt. Loads of outdoor seating where they also permit smoking. Good menu. I had the Wurstparade plate and it was excellent. Also had a guest brew, Hofbrauhaus Traunstein Pils which was the best pils I've ever had - so fresh and good! The Hefe Weisse produced here has a lot going for it: great body and flavor, traditional (in spite of not being Bavarian) and good finish. They seem to have a good crowd of transients and locals. I went back once. I'd sure go again.
