Copenhagen 19/8 2018. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh Ø. Drawing of what I suppose is the White Lady. Looks kind of Ghoulish.
Pours hazy, golden yellow with big white head. Stable. Settles as a thin frothy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the side of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sour odor mingling with Wheaty fumes. Citric sourness meeting a sweet, sugary lemonade-ish scent. Strong odor of citrus. Acerbic.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery and very lively texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by slightly stronger citric sour bitterness. Aftertaste is sugary sweet meeting tart citrus. Light spicy touch. Semi-dry finish.
Reminds me more of a Wit than a Tripel but a fine brew with a lot of Flavor that manages to hide the substantial ABV.
