The idea with this beer was to make a sweet stout that is not too strong, but still has flavor and body. To make this beer extra sweet, we have used lactose, which also gives the beer a little creaminess. We have been generous with the roasted malts, which are clearly expressed in the aroma and flavor, and especially tried to emphasize chocolate.
We have intentionally kept the alcohol percentage in the beer low, so it ended up at 5.5%.
Sweet Choco-latte Symphony has nuances of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice and roasted malt.

Copenhagen 9/1 2021. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled torv, Kbh. Ø. Very jazzy drawing on the label with what looks like af coffee bean playing saxophone.
Pours opaque, dark brown with a mid-sized beige head. Settles as thin, almost transparent but consistent layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Very moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, malty odor mingling with candy-like sweet fumes. Brown sugar, caramel. Roasted dark malts. Lactose. Light bitter note of black coffee.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a bitter undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is bitter chocolate and slightly dry.
Well sugared coffee from Hornbeer.
