This beer is called ”Det er aldrig din skyld” ( ”It is never your fault” ) and any proceeds from the sale of this beer will be donated to Center for Voldtægtsofre. Stop Voldtægt (The Center for Rape Victims - Stop Rape), which is based in Denmark.
We at Hornbeer would like to put a focus on rape as one of our close family members has been a victim of a so called drug rape. Her story is on the label.
The beer is featured on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/hornbeer/ and the
Center for Voldtægtsofre Facebook page www.facebook.com/stopvoldtaegt
The beer is a mild IPA at 5,5% ABV, with hints from the hops used, of tropical fruit and citrus. We have used the hop types Citra, Mosaic and Cascade for dry hopping.
Thank you for your support.

Copenhagen 24/5 2020. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled torv, Kbh. Ø. Pink label with a lot the excuses for rape that you can read in the media or that the victim of a rape uses to blame themselves.
Pours hazy, golden yellow with a medium-sized white head. Settles as 0,3 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a light fruity sweetness followed bby a stronger odor of citrus fruits. Peach and caramel. Grape fruit and citrus concentrate.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly strong with a moderate sweetness and a stronger sharp bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Decent IPA with a nice, dry and bitter bite. And a sympathetic message - that it really shouldn't be necessary to remind people about.
