Hornbeer Weissbier is the local version of the famous southern German weissbier.
For us, summer and sun, the lawn to mow, and the beach we want to visit – equal cold wheat beer. Enjoy Hornbeer Weissbier cold straight from the fridge in large glasses with high foam. It is the perfect beer for light summer dishes, at the barbecue or just when you are thirsty for something delicious.

Copenhagen 10/2 2019. 50 cl bottle from Meny. Østerfælled Torv, Kbh Ø. What looks like a aquarel painting of a landscape on the label.
Pours hazy, dark amber with medium-sized white head. Settles as thin layer of foam almost alle to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense, sweetish and with strong touch of Wheat malt. Lemonade with citrus, lime and lemon. Lightly sugary odor rummaging in the background. Light sour notes.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a weaker sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish and lightly metallic.
They recommend that I jump in my var and take the A7 Down to Bavaria. Maybe I should do just that in order to get the Right stuff. This one is pretty unremarkable.
