CzechCat is an organic beer brewed almost like the original black lagers found in the Czech Republic. This kind of black lager has been brewed in the Czech Republic for more than five centuries. There are flavors of roasted malt, caramel malt and generous amounts of good hops. CzechCat is fermented at low temperature. This ensures the completely pure flavor from the ingredients.

Copenhagen 16/8-2017. 50 cl bottle from Meny. Weird looking cat standing on roof tiles on the label.
Pours very dark maroon with big off-white head. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of foam. No lacing.
Aroma is sweetish with a fruity touch. Roasted malts and a little smoke. Lingering bitterness.
Surprisingly strong carbonation and watery palate.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by slightly lighter bitterness. Aftertaste is medium bitter.
Pleasant if somewhat strange interpretation of an Czech Dunkel.
