The colour is dark amber (25 EBC), the liquid is clear. The four finger airy head slowly sinks down leaving some lacing, ending up in a thick uneven beige lid.

The smell is hoppy and bitter, almost to an aggressive level. Citric fruits and peels, alcohol, strong white wine, mixed exotic fruits, some smooth sweetness. Some earthy notes. Hints of dry minerals, leather and prunes in the background.

The taste is bitter, too. But a smooth pleasant sweetness brings back the balance. Citric fruits and peels, again, especially lemon and lime. Some sweet dough and a touch of flour. Overall, the flavours are fresh and balanced. Some earthy notes of flowers and hay. The hay takes over from the citric notes in the aftertaste, which also includes hints of vegetables in the bitterness. The long finish is bitter-sweet and clean.

The carbonation is medium strong, the small bubbles smooth. The liquid is a little dry.

A fresh and pleasant AIPA at a moderate ABV. A little too much of those earthy-hayish notes, though.

On tap at Pikkulintu, Helsinki, Easter 2019. Deep golden to amber colour, moderate off-white head. Very pleasant aroma and flavour of fruity and piney hops, on a background of sufficient malts with just the right residual sweetness. Highly enjoyable, would certainly buy again.

A bottle (50cl) with Comic Sans MS font used on top of abstract painted Easter chickens. Let's not jump to conclusions, judging this book by it's cover. It pours amber tinted with a foggy transparency and generous medium thick foam. On the nose, it fragrances a clean and snappy, but complex sentiment. Promising - Fiery bitter orange citrus, grapefruit, pronounced hops, subtle tropical peaches and to further build up expectations a hint of coriander spice. Nice carbonation. The medium body of this beer is oily in texture. Bone dry it brings out a flowery bitter taste which fairly overshadows the complexity and flavors. The long aftertaste forms in massive bitterness along with hint of crisp bread, when you sort of tastes the last gulp for a few seconds. After a while on the palate, the beer becomes a bit monotonous, which is really untoward considering the potential nose. It's a very good beer, but can become somewhat thin on the palate. http://quaffable.org/?p=26

When poured into a large snifter the beer releases a really large foam and wonderful tropical aromas. Nice! When I tasted it, it felt a bit bland at first but soon a nice and balanced bitterness revealed itself. After a while other flavours such as a nice fruity sweetness and some buttery/nutty flavours(pine nuts?) came into action. The mouthfeel was light and the beer was easy drinking. The carbonation was medium/light. Overall I liked the beer, a nice balanced IPA. Maybe a bit too balanced I'd say, but a really nice and refreshing beer.

An enormous warm yellowish head that settles slowly leaving loads of lacing, the brew is clear amber with small bubbles. Some curtains.

The smell is very citric, lemon, lime, grape-fruit marmalade.

Starting sweet toffee, brown bread, then citric bitter tones, grape-fruit and lemon peel.

High carbonation, soft and oily, slightly sticky, a smooth long dry finish.

In all a very good AIPA, fresh and citric. The Easter connection I don't get.

A: Pours warm amber with a really large creamy tan head. Slow dissipation leaves awesome lacings.

S: Well balanced slightly roasted sweet rich caramell malt with lots of floral American hops with more citric than piney notes; oranges, lemons, mild grapefruit and some faint pineapple. Some apricot as well. Bitter hops as well.

T: Very rich bready sweet malts, again in great colaboration with the floral malts. Some flowery notes. Peaches along with "fruit-sallad" from the smell. Some honey, but suttle.

M: Body is medium tom full while carbonation is mild. Very smooth. Holds a medium long bitter but also smooth aftertaste.

O: Man, this was an interesting dane, very well balanced and not that sharp and pointy as man others in this style. It could have been boring, considering the style, but nothing this well balanced can be boring.
