Copenhagen 12/12 2016. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh Ø. A bunch of Hops having a Christmas Party on the label.
Pours slightly unclear amber with a white head. Stable. Settles as a thin almost transparent layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing on the side of the glass.
Aroma of sweet exotic fruit with light citric overtones. Mango, papaya and citrus. Hints of decay.
Soft carbonation and slightly thick texture. Gently tingling texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a pronounced bitterness. A little perfumed and soapy. Bitterness lingers in the aftertaste for quite a long time.
Apart from the soap a quite fine Christmas beer.

May 2013: 500 ml bottle, kindly shared by abemorsten. ABV is 6%. Brown colour, moderate off-white head. Pleasant aroma of butterscotch, toffee and caramel - less noticeable hops. The flavour is well balanced between the malts and hops, medium bitter finish.

A: The color is clear copper and the off-white tall head is rather thick and compact. Slow dissipation leaves decent lacings.
S: Lots of tropical ripe fruits; pineapple mainly, but there's also ripe oranges, grapefruits and lemon sezt. Caramell hops brings some sweetness. Bitter hops balances the fruityness from the floral hops.
T: Lots of American bitter and floral hops; pine and citrus dominates. The malt is on the weaker side, but brings a bready sweetness to this beer.
M: Body is thin considering this style, carbonation is mild and aftertaste is lovely bitter and long-lasting.
O: Kind of unbalanced - more malt would have brought more body and added to the complexity. Kind of a pity, since this is tasty.
