Easily the best of Kori Kori's beers, this solid rendition of an altbier arrives at the table with a nice copper-brown body and frothy off-white head, that showed good retention and laid down some lace. The aroma is lightly fruity with caramel notes... pleasant, but subdued. The flavour has a good caramel body with layers of berries, mineral and earth piled on top. Its medium-light body and medium carbonation help to keep it refreshing.
Like I said, a very solid German-style beer.
