In addition to the alt, this is Kori Kori's only other year round offering (they rotate their two seasonals in and out between winter and summer).
Pastel yellow body with a finger of white head. Simple grain and lemon aroma.Decent retention and lace. Fresh and zingy. Some nice light citrus and grain flavours are present in this cleanly brewed beer, but there's nothing that really elevates it to the next level, and certainly not a lot of complexity. This is somewhat expected in the style... you don't go for a kolsch if you're after a beer to mull over depth and complexity! Fortunately the body is refreshing -- quite light with a decent spritziness.
The only reason I really enjoyed this beer was because it was a damn hot day, and the simple clean flavours appealed in the heat.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
