I recently returned from a trip to Spain and France with several different beers. This was one I picked up while at Chateaux Chambord in France. Poured into my snifter this beer is a cloudy, murky dark golden with a fizzy white head that settles into nice lacing around the glass. The aroma is all honey. The taste is also mostly honey, but isn't too overly sweet. I don't detect any hop taste but at least this is somewhat balanced. The beer is pretty highly carbonated and the finish is slightly sticky. This is a good beer for fans of honey. I'm not a huge fan of honey but this is still a pleasant drink that I would have again if readily available (which is unlikely).
