★★★
★★★
I won't write a column on this beer!
No, I won't write a column on this beer, I'll just write a little note about it, because it doesn't deserve any more. It's a basic redhead, with nothing to excite, nothing to make us dream about it. Only the can is interesting in this product.

Chronique - Le Trèfle Noir. Got it in a bar.
So the look of it: About a finger of beige head. Médium carbonation, Red orange color to it.
The smell of it: The smell if not there for me. You have some caramel malt, some biscuit malt also but thats it.
The taste of it: Much much better than the smell, the caramel and some biscuit is there. it goes down really easily. Feels a bit watery. Some bitterness on the aftertaste. Really nice overall.
So overall would I recommend it ? Sure I mean if you can get it at a good price go for it. Me I paid 8,5 $ in a bar for a bottle so if you can get a 6 pack for a bit more go for it.

The beer is brown in color or very dark red if you prefer. The head is thin, beige. The beer is quite dark since I can't see through it. The aroma has some hazelnut notes with vanilla and caramel. Very sweet and good on the smell. On the taste, it's surprising in a good way. Caramel, slightly roasted caramel too. Roasted nuts. Sweet. Medium body. Bitterness is shy, but present. Well balanced. A good beer overall. Would love to try this one on tap!
Easy to drink, its a well done session beer.

Appearance: It has a nice deep hazy ruby red color to it. It has a nice thick creamy beige head that dies down moderately slow and leaves some nice lacing.
Smell: The aromas definitely give out hints of toasty/biscuity malts, some caramel, a funky metallic note and earthy hops.
Taste: Like the aromas, it has a biscuity malts, some nutiness, faint caramel, an earthy bitterness and a slight metallic taste.
Mouthfeel: It has a med/high carbonation with a nice overall balance and feel.
Drinkability: It's a very smooth drinkable beer accompanied with good flavors and aromas.
