Slightly cloudy dark golden color with low activity. Soft creamy and bubbly beige 2 finger head, lasting around 5-10 minutes, with good legs and swirl reaction. Flavors of pineapples, orange, lemon, caramel, butter, and herbal hops (Citra, Simcoe, Centennial & Warrior). Silky smooth medium body with crispy carbonation. Strong strength finish, citrusy and piney with a dominant astringent leafy feel. Tropical feel is overwhelmed, also a bit too much caramel. Great body but not well balanced from an acidic boozy feel, so it lacks freshness. Overall average quality craft.

Blonde with orange hues in color with a beautiful 1-inch foamy head. Intense grapefruits smell with also odors of oranges, apples, lemon, really hoppy nose. Crisp bitterness in the mouth with a nice fruity finish. You taste more the oranges and grapefruits, there's some citrus too. But overall it's a really "in your face" bitterness which makes it a really good Double IPA.

Bottled Nov. 26, 2014, enjoyed Dec. 19, 2014.
Pours a gorgeous light orange color, slightly hazy yet still able to look through a bit. Decent creamy head but disappears fast and doesn`t leave much behind. Aroma is caramelized hops, Taste has a grinding bitterness but malt rules more than hops. Kind of like a barleywine which is not what i was looking for.

Tap (Hivernale): Poured an amber/orangey color ale with a nice thick foamy head. Aroma of green resinous hops with some citrus notes is quite dominant with light caramel malt notes also perceptible. Taste is also dominated by a great mix of green fresh hoppy notes with some citrus and earthy notes offset by some caramelized malt notes. Bitterness level is above average with some great dry hopping notes. Body is about average with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Very well brewed and something the brewer should consider bottling.
