On cask at Volo Cask Days 2009. Had a pint of this while relaxing after two volunteer shifts.

Pours a hazy dark golden, almost beige looking away from the light, medium white head forms, settles to a thin ring, no real lacing.

Smell is nice, subtle lime character, honey, biscuits, floral, some herbal character, nice ginger spiciness, solid malts, ginger and lime are well done.

Taste is similar, good maltiness, tastes a bit like ginger ale pop in that theres a light acidity and citrus character with ginger spiciness, balanced in the finish, real light and drinkable.

Mouthfeel is light bodied with low carbonation. This was pretty nice, I could have gone through a few pints of this on a summer evening. Ginger and lime was very nicely done.

Volo cask days 2009. Another interesting brew from this brewer. A mild 4.4% abv with a light but easy drinking mouthfeel. Subtle ginger and lime. Light colour nothing to look at. Aroma initially wafts lime for a yard. A nice cask that served as a changeup even though not big and bold.
