October 2013: 500 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.8%. Brewed with "einerlåg" (= mashing / sparging "liquor" / water boiled with juniper branches) and smoked stjørdalsmalt. Brewed in cooperation with Klostergården Håndbryggeri - they have brewed a version at each brewery. Hazy dark brown colour, moderate beige head. Intense aroma of stjørdalsmalt, smoked meat, bonfires and tar. Even more intense smoked flavour, smoke and ashes all the way. Sorry, stjørdalsmalt is just not my thing.
