Pours a clear orange-tinted yellow, with a bubbly head that reduced from over an inch to about a quarter inch quite quickly. Spongy lace leavings are a bonus.

Offers a husky grain aroma, and definitely a corn essence, not the offensive adjunct stink of an American macro lager, but pure, earthy, and with a lingering sweetness. Admittedly nothing too exceptional in its style category.

Flavors reveal a robust, flavorful lager, really nice corn/wheat layers, malt sharpened by a generous bittering from the hops. Finish is also on the bitter side, thick and milky in the mouth. And soggy, as in: not crisp.

Clean, earthy lager, thick in flavor and body. A very enjoyable offering that would be nice to see in the states more often (in fact, I've never seen it, this was sent by a friend in Germany).
