A - Pours a golden straw perfectly unclouded, with a fizzy white head that left a single sticky ring of lacing.
S - Crisp wheat and straw aromas, a bit of cirtus and mainly clean earthy character.
T - Clean wheat and light malt flavoring dominate the taste with a bit of herbal undertones.
M - Light and crisp with a refeshing clean finish.
D - Easy to drink and pleasant on a hot day.

The was the 5% version purchased from Corti Bros in Sacramento. Poured a clear gold with nice white head and good lacing. Nose of caramel malts and floral hops. Smooth and clean mouthfeel. Flavor of mals and some more hops, these a little grassy. Finish is mild and slightly bitter. Pretty decent beer.

This is a nice, flowery, zesty, full-bodied pilsner type.
This is deep gold with a white head that is thin from the start but lasts a long time and leaves some lacing.
The aroma is yeast with strong, nutty grain and herb. It is very nice and aromatic.
It taste is of sweet, malty, toasty, nutty grain with bitter hop qualities of pine, herbs, and lemon that just barely dominate the beer, through to a lively and balanced finish of bitter hops and sweet, nutty grain.
Although light and highly drinkable, it has great balance and a lot of subtle character and complexity in the tradition of many full-bodied Czech lagers/pilsner that are often, to me, comparable to a good English bitter or ESB-type.

Pours a very light amber gold with a good off-white head. Nose is cereal sweet. Flavor is sweet and smooth with a deeper character than you might expect. Feel is good. Nice level of bubble. Smooth on the tongue. Extremely drinkable. This is one to have stocked for you or your light beer loving, non-beer-geek friends.

A czech pilsner? It's a good beer, but it's not like the others I've had. The aroma is sweet, bready and clean, but almost Belgian-like. The flavors is also a bit too clean. The hops are there, but not as in-your-face as others. The rougher, grassier hops don't come through until the aftertaste so that the first hops note is more like an American citrus rind hop. The malt also doesn't seem quite right for a pilsner. There's a touch of caramel over pale malts that altogether comes off more like an amber lager.
Bottom line is that this is a nice beer, but I'd call it a high-end Euro pale lager, not a so-so pilsener.

This was poured from the bottle into a pilsner flute. It has a clear golden color with a decent head that is well retained. Barley malt dominates the aroma with a faint trace of hops. The flavor is clean and, like the aroma, dominated by a strong barley malt presence. Hops are present but noted mostly on the finish. It's very clean. It has a medium body with moderate carbonation.
Overall this is a decent Czech pilsner. However, I usually prefer my pilsner(s) a little lighter though, especially on a hot day like today. It's a bit grainy also for other choices in the style.

12oz bottle poured into a pint glass. Pours a golden yellow color with a large fluffy white head with beautiful retention and lacing. The aroma is largely comprised of doughy malt. The taste is malt with a delightfully dry and spicy finish from the hops. Overall, this is a pretty tasty Czech Pils that I wouldn't mind having again.

A- Pours a gold color into my pilsner glass, with a couple finger, tight head that settles to a ring in a few minutes.
S- Grain fields, white corn, dry, beautiful beer. Smells like a pilsner should.
T- Slightly sweet malt up front, that fades to a caramel, and then corn and white bread and yeast. Very faint alcohol and hops in the finish that leaves the grain taste in your mouth.
M- Watery and thin, with medium carbonation and a smooth, long, perfect finish.
D- So wonderful. I could drink this all day and all night.

Klaster Premium
Served from a 1 PT .09 FL OZ bottle.
Poured somewhat dark amber. Fluffy white lace quickly faded. In my opinion, it has a taste similar to Leffe, a Belgium beer. It is very drinkable. Has slight carmel and then berry notes. The mouthfeel is pleasant and not overbearing by any means. Overall, a great beer. If your looking for other Czech beers, check out Golden Pheasant. A another great beer to accompany a hardy eastern European meal.

Pours a clear straw color, about the standard for Czech lagers. A fluffly white head appears with quick dissipation. A bit of buttery notes come through as well as floral hops, but overall quite clean. Flavor, again is standard, and though unremarkable, good for a Czech pilsener: a balance of hops and crystal malts. A bit more body than Urquel, but certainly very comparable. This was a nice new choice recommended as an alternative to Urquel for this unseasonably hot day. Would be great with most summer fair off the grill or some pizza, as well as a thirst quencher on a hot day.

Pours a clear, bright, perfect gold with bone-white bubbles around the collar of the beer. Not too much of a head, but still pretty. Aromas of fresh Saaz sea-air, with little in the way of malt backing. I do believe that my sample is getting slightly oxidized already -- this needs to be drunk as soon as the bottle is opened! On the palate, invigorating bitterness that sticks to the top of the mouth is laid over a sweet malt base. It's the perfect juxtaposition of sweet, bready-dough malts and zippy, acidic hops that pilsner is famous for. Mouthfeel is superb, even for the style. Ultra smooth malts coat the tongue, and the hop oils seem attracted to the roof of the mouth. The result is a sandwich of intermingling sensations, with the middle getting the best of it. Overall, this is a wonderful pilsner. Smooth and racy at the same time, it's an excellent session beer and food beer. Excellent all around.

This beer is light golden in color and there is little head. Some lacing is left in the glass. The smell is slightly hoppy and grainy. The taste is somewhat bitter, relativly smooth. The mouthfeel is creamy and the beer is tolerable. I wouldn't mind drinking a few of these on a hot afternoon.
