Red House Ale is an intense amber colour, with a full flavour body. Overtaken by a citrusy hop character and a fine floral aroma, this Ale is pleasant and thirst quenching - yet deceptively complex.

A US trading buddy asked me for the Surgenor aluminum bottles a few months ago when he saw them on the internet. Finally made it to Vancouver to pick up a 6 pack.
355 ml aluminum bottle poured into a pint glass.
Reddish amber colored, clear liquid. Slightly off white foam, solid head leaves nice looking lace. Smell has lots of herbal, earthy hops, and some toasted malt. Taste mirrors the smell, toasted, caramel malts with a full flavored hoppy finish. Good carbonation level, medium body, bitter drying finish. Nice flavors, well balanced all around.
Glad to see another small brewery making good beer.

A - poured from a 355ml aluminum bottle into a pint glass. It pours clear ruddy-amber. The head is off white and leaves a snowy covering that laces decently.
S - light toasted malt, light herbal hops and flowers
T - toasted malt with a light bitterness transitioning to a strongly brewed tea finish (English breakfast tea)
M - high carbonation, medium body, chewy and a neutral finish
D - easy drinking with strong tea flavors
