I picked up a case of this commemorative bottling at my local purveyor, at a heck of a great price.
Poured dark brown, nearly black. Opaque. Brown foam head dissipated quickly to a thin skein. Not much lace. Nose is chocolate, coffee, anise, roasted malt. Taste is chocolate, a hint of coffee, roast malt, dark fruit - cherries? and a bit sweet. Mouthfeel starts out creamy but is a bit too light. Carbonation is mild. Overall is a decent brown ale, glad I tried it, I'll probably drink a few more and give a few away.

Pours the darkest of browns with thin, but creamy head of soap sudsy looking light brown foam. Some nice lacing.
The smell contains a big share of milk chocolate with some nutty and cream scents as well.
Pretty much like the smell here, but maybe just a hair watered down tasting. There is a roasty malt thing happening with more nuttiness and some milk chocolate. Some moderate hopping in there as well.
The feel is very dry and quite thin and lacks carbonation. Less than medium bodied. The feel really hurts the overall beer in my opinion.
Very drinkable, smells and tastes good. Could be a really strong brew if the body and carbonation issues were fixed. No date on the bottle, so for all I know this could be a bottle passed its date which is leading to the aforementioned issues.

Brainerd Lakes Tilted T-Ale brown ale pours a disk of tan foam over a black brew. The nose is dark toasty malt and clean herbal/floral hops. The flavor pretty much echoes the nose- toasty dark malts with bitter chocolate notes and herbal/grassy hops off the back. The mouthfeel is light and smooth- semi-dry with a long grassy hop aftertaste. The beer is a casual tie-in of sorts to promote an Independent film, Tilt, made in the Brainerd, MN area. When I heard Brainerd Lakes was brewing a beer for the event I was assuming it was going to be a draft-only product, but they actually put in the time to deal with all the issues related to labeling and bottling and brought the thing out in bombers. While not spectacular, the beer itself is solid and flavorful- the hop accent really elevating a style that can be a little pedestrian in the wrong hands. Products like this one are often just phoned in and I like that they put some effort into it!
