Poured from a growler the head is a lack luster and small and fades to only a tiny patch of bubbles as they rise up from the bottom. Body is a dark ruby/brown color very clear. Smell is basic sweet smell of the malts nothing remarkable. Taste is sweet and has rich bready/nut tones it is indeed pretty good despite the lack luster approach, has a slight oily nature to it. Nothing really to write home about but also not a terrible beer. I'll happily finish my growler but probably won't pay the steep sale price for the growler of $10 again.
