A - Dark brown, nearly black, almost opaque, but with a slight hint of light through the darkness. A full head (thanks to the fine work of the brewery growler pourer) of light tan, reducing slowly. Full lacing.
S - Bread and nutty grains, a slight hint of roast and coffee. A subtle acid bite of bitterness and spice.
T - Delicious roasted grains and malts, coming forward as a nice chocolate and coffee flavor, fading slowly into a light bitterness brought with the hops.
M - Easy drinker, light on the tongue, and while there bitterness, it does not linger or build.
O - When you drink local, you hope for these moments. I love a good brown ale, and this delivers many of the same notes, but is subtly different. The hops are light, but present. Delicious.
