Pours clean gold. Light hop nose. Pretty sweet malty start and a clean dry finish. Perfect light carbonation for the style.

This beer was a creeper with the buzz. Has a lager type taste with a prominent presence of alcohol.

A - Superbly clear, golden brew, pure white head, fading to a cast over the top, good lacing.
S - Grains and yeasty notes. Snappy bit of grass and floral hop.
T - Clean maltiness, sweet up front, with banana coming out a bit in the esters. A nice kick of herbal hops, and a subtly bitter close.
F - Crisp, clean, with a bit of drying.
O - I'm not sure what a Doppelkolsch is, but this is a nice, clean, traditional German ale style amped up as you'd expect from Three Floyds and Sun King.
