Hazy golden amber with one finger of white head. Good amount of fine lace.
Smell is resinous hops with some bready malt.
Taste is piney herbal hops with a good amount of bready malt.
Mouthfeel is medium with mild carbonation. Finish is lightly dry and bitter.
Overall for two year old beer it is not bad.

Aroma is resiny and very caramel malt dominant. Lots of pine and muted citrus.
There's a big toasted malt presence, followed by a resiny bitterness and pine in flavor. More bitter than I'd prefer.

Can into pint glass. Booty from a trade. Expectations were low because I didn't care much for the red can. This was a different story, this fistful was pleasant to my palate. Well balanced hoppy, bite and smooth feel with a decent citrus 'pop' to it. Felt stronger than 6.4%. My only suggestion is to keep the good fistfuls combos to bring back every once in a while, although I understand the concept beer here.

Pours amber/orange. A sweet aroma, kinda perfume like. A slightly fruity hop aroma. Taste, the malt backbone really shines through here, which is the point of the series. Same malt backbone, different hops each time. The hops this time add a bitter pineapple flavor. Kinda piney taste to the hops. Overall, this is my fav of the series so far. Enjoyed it with some buffalo pizza my wife made and the combo was real good. Is get again.

Forward, Piney, Zest, Bitter
A very clean, by the book IPA, with more emphasis on hop flavor than sheer bitterness. Fresh and juicy with assertive, earthy herbal overtones. It’s like chewing on a mouthful of pine sap-coated orange rind. In a good way. Sun King swings the hop hammer strong, citrus rind lingers far into the aftertaste. The brewers have done an excellent job with the blend of hops while keeping an even keel.
