16oz can, sample from the brewery.

Good amount of suds on top, nearly clear amber hue. Juicy citrus, earthy, and exotic fruit hop nose. Very smooth with a bit of creamy malt body on the palate. Semi-pungent hop character throughout, deep citrus flavor. Bready malt base holds a firm balance but the hop forwardness is obviously the start of the show here. Keep these coming guys, great job.

Poured from a full proper pint-sized can (I love Sun King for that consistency.)

Pours a nice deep orange-hued amber color with a quickly dissipating fizzy finger of head that falls back to an off-white light lacing.

Smells sweetly of pine and citrus hop aromas, taste is mostly hop oil and a dry, lightly bitter finish.

Mouthfeel is thin with higher levels of carbonation, seems to make the bitterness a little more apparent than other similar beers.

A little more malt may balance this out some, but a solid AIPA offering. I would buy again and plan to seek out the other variants as they become available.

Almost amber in color, forms a nice pillowy head. Lacing is not overly impressive. Citrus aroma and pleasant hop bitterness. Not as balanced as I would expect given the color. However, a very enjoyable IPA.

Had on tap at the taproom. Looks much darker than a typical IPA, more of a copper color. I found the orange to be barely perceptible on the nose and taste. The finish is not too bitter. This is a fairly well balanced and enjoyable beer but doesn't really bring much interesting flavor. I will gladly have this again but won't seek it out.
