With our second collaboration with our friends at Rhinegeist, we bring you respite from the chills of winter with a deeply complex, rich and malty lumberjack of a beer. This Scottish-Style Wee Heavy meets Belgian-Style Dark Hybrid descendant of Wee Muckle and Mastodon aims to embrace your palate in a flannely, chocolatey, enormously malty two-state bear hug and warm you to your core.

This kind of fell flat for me. Reminded me of a watered down Wee Mac. Maybe my taste buds were off, but this was just not great. The Emergency Hop Kit was much better.

From the tall boy can in a snifter. This solid wee heavy pours a
beautiful red tinged mahogany with a moderate head of off white
foam that settles to a thick ring and thin layer with light lacing.
Nose of heavy brown sugars, dark fruit notes, and subtle chocolate.
Flavors lightly exceed the nose with brown sugars, dark berry notes
with hints of cherries and black berries, and subtle warming booze
and light hints of chocolate. Nice mouth feel, smooth, rich, lightly creamy
and slick with a touch of warmth on the back. Overall very nice.
Cheers
