This is a good but not great beer. It's kind of boring but there's more positive than negative to say about this beer. It is not that hoppy and I'd say not enough to make it on a ship from the east indies to great britain. I do like the taste but it tastes like any pale ale you've ever had. I like pale ales so I'll rate this one as good

On tap at Sun King. Recommended by the bartender as a very drinkable IPA. My guess is, she is not a hops fan. She's right - it's light. Pours a light yellow. Light on the nose. More of a pale ale than an IPA in my book. There's a fun, sour citrus taste, though.

Had on draft, this beer seems to be floating in the midst of a few different IPA styles and lands firmly in the 'pretty good' category. A nice orange/amber colored brew with a decent lil froth that left some tracks behind, not at all the haze the name implies but just a tad fuzzy. The nose was kinda subtle, light hoppy tropical fruit notes combined with a decent amount of cracker-like malts, but it all seemed distant and reserved. the flavor opened up a bit more, with the nice grapefruit/orange rind bitterness coming through after an initial hit of semi-sweet malts. a familiar but welcoming one note kind of IPA that doesn't hang around too long. fairly crisp and light on the palate, it worked well for the heat of the day and left the mouth a tad dry, wanting just a bit more. something i'd drink in a backyard with my feet up
