On tap at Sun King in Sarasota. Pours a very dark brown, almost black, with little head or lacing. It's over the top in a good way. Definitely boozy and sweet. The cinnamon is front and forward. A good addition to a flight. 12 ounces would be a lot.

Horchata Shadow Proof pours black with no head. Aroma is filled with sweet cinnamon. Flavor is very creamy, sweet, thick, with lots of cinnamon. Good body and feel.

Had this on tap at Jax Craft Beer (10oz pour). Very deceptive beer! Very little alcohol burn, nice cinnamon taste without being overwhelming, and overall a very nice sipping beer.

Pours black with brown highlights and almost no head. Viscous and shimmering oil-like appearance. Smells like cinnamon and bourbon barrel. Taste is sweet malts, cinnamon, oaky bourbon barrel, chocolate, molasses. Thin to medium mouthfeel. In this variant the cinnamon tones down the bourbon barrel, which is a bit out of control in the regular bourbon barrel shadow proof.
