Appearance: Pours coffee colored with a thin, fizzy beige head that quickly fades to a ringlet; a few speckles of lace
Smell: Very malty aromatics, with caramel, pecan and fruitcake aromatics; the Bourbon comes through, as well
Taste: The Bourbon is present throughout but never dominates; at the outset, it complements the caramel and pecan tones with the fruitcake aspect developing; after the swallow, the Bourbon is more apparent as a stand-alone and provides a "holiday" finish with a bit of booziness
Mouthfeel: Full bodied with low carbonation
Overall: More like an Imperial Winter Warmer than a Wee Heavy, I quite enjoyed this; would just like to see a wee bit more carbonation
