grabbed at the brewery 7 days ago.
poured from the growler to a sun king shaped pint glass a dark mahogany brown with a nice frothy off white head with nice retention.
aroma of brown sugar, molasses and tart apples.
a very rich malty brown ale, sweet upon the sip followed by a tart, though not at all bitter, bite after.
smooth and creamy, medium bodied, with light(ish) carbonation.
very very drinkable.
