This pretty much boils down to how one feels about bananas in their beer. As far as banana flavored stouts go this one is fine. I’ve had some that were better, and some that were way worse. The heavy alcohol isn’t particularly well masked, and evokes the bad memory of doing shots of 99 Bananas in college. But the rum is smooth and there’s a nice chocolate undertone. More of a sipper with heavy warming.
