16oz can stamped 6/21/19 (best before) poured into a Rastal one glass at fridge temp, no ABV listed on can. The beer pours bright light honey amber in color with off white head. The head recedes to a thin cap and ring. There are a few small spots of lacing. The aroma is a mix of yeast, noble hops and Munich malt. The taste is semisweet toasted malt up front with some earthy hop flavor before the finish. The finish offers medium to low bitterness, but also a subtle aftertaste that is unpleasant. The mouthfeel is medium bodied, adequately carbonated and undry in the finish. I get that buttery/oily taste & feel similar to a poorly produced AAL. Overall, goodish. I am a stickler for clean lagers and this one in not. Everything else is there but this one should have stayed in the tanks a while longer.

Enjoyed from the can in a snifter via a friend from work---Thanks Justin!
This nice lager pours a clear ruby tinged amber with a moderate head of white foam that subsides to a thin ring, thin layer, and very light lacing. Nose of lightly toasted malts, subtle breaded notes, and light caramel and grain notes. Flavors follow the nose with a decent grain bill in support of lightly toasted malts with a touch of light herbal hops note. Decent mouth feel finishes clean, lightly crisp, and mildly sweet. Overall a decent brew.
Cheers

I had a friend pick this up for me at Sun King. I poured it from a 16 oz. can into a clear teardrop glass. It pours s nice golden with a pale head. I really like this lager!

On tap into a pint glass
A - The beer is a slightly amber, almost copper color and is clear with light carbonation visible in the form of small bubbles rising slowly towards the surface. There is a thin white head that dissipates very quickly to a thin lacing. 3.75/5
S - The aroma is chiefly of caramel and a very sweet maltiness along with dark stone fruit. The aroma reminds me of Grape Nut O's cereal. Herbal and noble hops seem to be present with a very clean aroma profile overall. 4/5
T - Malty and caramel sweetness pervade throughout the first 2/3 of the flavor profile with medium toasted white bread, Grape Nut O's and caramel being the specific flavors. There is a light smoke and pepper that come out once the sweetness has died down a little along with a bit of rye and coriander. A light grassiness and it accompanying bitterness make themselves known right before the finish with a light lingering bitterness that hangs around briefly before disappearing. 3.75/5
M - Smooth and creamy with a light to medium body. Wet and coats the tongue nicely from front to back with just a light carbonation tickle. 4/5
O - Straightforward and well executed Vienna Lager that has a nice sweetness but it is a bitter more bitter than expected. Moderately complex flavor profile allows those appreciative of the simple to be placated while those who appreciate complexity can be satisfied as well. 3.75/5

Pours a dark Amber brown one finger head. Smells of some grassy and herby hops. Banana and pear. Almost a Brett's yeasty quality to the aromatics. Taste is really clean and invites drinking. Bit of the hops. Bit of Apple. Bit of grapes like a white wine. And then that's it, doesn't linger a ton. It just begs to be drunk. Refreshing mouthfeel/carbonation level. Overall, you'd think a lager marketed to be drunk at a baseball event may skimp on flavor and aromatics. I don't think that is going on here. This is a very good beer. Props again Sun King.

This may seem like nothing special, but for a local AAA team's beer selection, it is far and away the best option. This beer always hits the spot on a nice warm day at Indian's Field.

Looks like a Vienna lager, but taste seems to be directed to the Bud Light crowd. Disappointing for a Sun King offering. I expected something much better.
