The beer spills from the tap a deep clear brown with a towering creamy light tan head that after decomposing leaves a thick coating of lace upon the glass. Nose has a nice earthy grain aroma, backed by pleasant malt sweetness, fresh and pleasing to the senses, start is somewhat sweet, and the grain profile pleasant and the top middling in feel to the palate. Finish is delectable in its hop spiciness, the acidity moderate and the aftertaste dry, a delightful first beer of the day.
