Brewing is the craft of blending science with artistry then introducing the mystical. Field to Ferment exemplifies this adventure. We will brew this fresh hop ale throughout the entire hop harvest in Yakima using each of four hop varieties as they are harvested. At least that’s the plan. Nature may have a different plan. Such is the harvest. Each can has a date and brew number stamped on the bottom; check FremontBrewing.com for the exact hops used in your beer. In order of harvest, we will brew with fresh Centennial, Simcoe,™ Citra,™ and finally Mosaic™ hops. Field to Ferment represents a colossal collaboration between the brewery and our hop farmers. No one has attempted to brew fresh hop beers throughout the entire season. We will make countless trips between the fields in Yakima and the brewery in Fremont, loaded with tens of thousands of pounds of fresh, juicy hops. Nothing is fresher, nothing is better for a brewer. So, please do enjoy this beer absolutely fresh, and enjoy the adventure this beer represents…Because Fresh Hop Beer Matters! “Fresh hops are the best hops.” – VWP

I love Fresh Beers, and Fremont was on point to do single hope showcase beers. Im drinking the Citra hop one and Yakima valley has the best hops and these beers show it. I respect the great lengths these brewers do to pick brew and transport these beer. This beer had tons of aroma, tangerine lGrapfruit, orange pith pine dankness. Taste follows the nose with pleasant bitterness. Looking forward in trying the mosaic which u feel probably be the best.

Appearance: Pours clear and amber-tinged golden colored with a two finger head of foam; good retention and a smattering of lace
Smell: Fresh hop aromatics galore; somewhat dank and grainy, with pineapple, hemp, white grapefruit and lime tones
Taste: Not quite as fruit forward as the aroma, the flavors build on a grainy base, with the pineapple and hemp aspect leading off, with the grapefruit and lime elements adding modest bitterness; well-balanced in the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: A quality fresh hop APA here
Thanks, jheimbigner, for the opportunity

This may be my new fave fresh hop beer. Wowza. Had on tap 10.21.2018
L - Gives nothing away, not perfectly clear, but not hazy. Good lacing.
S - Citra beast emerges, with notes of pine, citrus (duh), and some good leafy, fresh hop dankness
T - Doubles down and where this FtoF variant really shines. Everything you just smelled x 2 = awesome
F - Good, smooth carbonation; didn't make me gassy, just great balance here. Well done.
O - One of my new faves; if you see it, GET IT. @6%, it doesn't kick you off the couch either. Had 3. :)
