What you hold in your hands represents our homage to uncompromising quality, fresh ingredients and a restless dedication to creativity. BBW #5 is our fifth annual Bellingham Beer Week beer and continues the exploration of our hop fields in the Cowiche Canyon in Yakima. BBW #5 is a tropical, juicy, hazy IPA inspired by our friends in New England. We used a staggering amount of 100% organic Mosaic™ and Citra™ hops to give BBW #5 mango, peach, and juicy pine notes, but kept the bitterness very low so that the experience of drinking BBW #5 is exceptionally creamy and full of hop juice without the bitterness. The Cowiche program began in 2010 in partnership with the Carpenter and Britt families and the fine folks at Select Botanicals and Yakima Chief to promote the organic hop industry in Washington state. Thank you, Bellingham Beer Week, and thank you, Washington Craft Beer Lover. “Beer has never caused a war.” – VWP
