500ml bottle dated 2/8/21 poured into a tulip on 4/25/21.
Pours 1" of bubbly pink and beige head. An opaque reddish-pink color reminiscent of raspberry skins.
Aromas of sour, funky ale yeast, sweet berry, and wine barrel.
Taste leads with a sour punch that gives way to raspberry sweetness. Finishes with a slightly dry, woody flavor.
Mouthfeel is very effervescent and astringent. Lively action from the carbonation.
A fantastic fruited wild ale with great aromas and flavors. Barrel aging lends a subtle woody tone to the sweet and sour elements.
