16 oz can from Hops & Bottles. Murky orange golden body, foamy head. Aroma is tropical notes, melon, mango. Taste brings some citrus to the brew, fruity, sweet, also nice textures, mealy. Dry finish.

There is no way I can believe the brewer tasted this and said it was good for consumption. It tastes like a vodka boilermaker. This is the worst NEIPA I've had.

Can dated 5/31. Into the New Belgium tulip.
Incredibly pale orange body. Appears quite thin, even if you can't see through it. Minimal head that is largely just incredibly wet bubbles fizzling away.
Nose is sweet sweet citrus. Tangerine and apricot with a low note that's not quite earthy nor umami nor dank, but somewhere in there. Actually kind of dig it.
Again we've got sweet citrus leading the crew. Almost reminds me of the orange flavoured E-mergen-C packets. Tangerine and apricot again. Finish culminates with a fierce bitterness that reminds that this is still an IPA and this is still the PNW, thankfully. Pithy.
Body is indeed quite thin, with mild carbonation. Super easy to take 'just a sip or two' then realize the glass is almost empty.

This may be the most “tropical” IPA I’ve ever had - very hazy straw color under a white head, but the trip to the tropics starts on the nose, with dank citrus hop notes including spicy passion fruit and grapefruit - and coconut notes. Yes, coconut.
The coconut is more forward on the taste, and it mixes really well with the dank fruity flavors. This is a really enjoyable IPA, IMHO.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a very hazy caramel-golden amber with a two finger white head that dissipates to a thick cap with light lacing. Aroma of pale malt, citrus hops, lemon, yuzu, mild pineapple, mixed unidentifiable tropical fruit and field potpourri. Flavor is pale and mildly biscuit malt, mild stone and tropical fruit, citron and grapefruit rind. Finishes lightly hoppy with light dried fruit. Medium bodied with light creaminess. This version seemed to have a bit of attenuated flavor and unfortunately not enough hop bitterness in the finish for my palate. It has a standard bitterness for the fruity, low alpha version of hazy IPAs, but the fruit flavors are somewhat muddled and with no hop kick in the finish, I lost interest. I hate to review this low bitterness style since it is not my thing, but I did enjoy the last few iterations and this one just doesn't interest me.
