Rated 6-1-2019. All of Fremont's Head Full of Dynomite are so similar in taste it is hard to differentiate one from another. They all use different hop varieties and amounts so there is a difference in the taste but I'm not sure how much.

Half pour at PreFunk. Hazy pour, wispy head. Looks like grapeceuit juice. Starts sliw, and finushes strong. Light citrusy aroma, taste is stronger citrusy notes, citrus peel notes. Creamy feel. Comes together quite nicely.

Appearance: hazy yellow-tan. Thin in appearance when poured. The body is totally opaque, yet seems as if this beer is thin or not totally opaque - as if diluted with water. The head spritzes quickly like warm soda and fades to near nothing immediately.
Aroma: super fresh hops (far better in the can than a glass). Little malt, Pineapple and mango from the hops.
Flavor: the first flavor in an off flavor - fennell maybe, and not in a good way. The hops fade quickly to a very mild finish with the "fennel" flavor lasting to the end. Thsi beer lacks the hop juiciness typical of the style.
Mouthfeel: light-medium, bordering on the thin side.
Overall: disappointing. The off flavor compromises this beer. I'm a fan of Fremont beers, but this beer misses every mark but aroma. This beer is a miss.

16 oz can, packaged 7/26/18. Pours very hazy orange gold with a small bubbly white head that quickly goes to a thin film that leaves little lacing.
The aroma is sweet fruity earthy resiny hops with some alcohol.
The flavor is sweet doughy wheat malts with lots of tropical fruit and a lightly bitter resiny hop finish. The mouthfeel is really thin and watery with a little doughy feel.
Overall, nice fruit and hop balance.

Poured from fridge temp. Pours a nice hazy orange with almost no head. Nose is amazing. Full of pine, orange and lemon. Resin and citrus peel come through as well. A bit of wheat is detectable. Taste follows the nose. Almost no bitterness. A good amount of tree sap, pine, resin, toffee, lemon, and citrus peel. Mouthfeel is medium bodied. Overall, a really nice beer.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a very hazy orange amber with a half finger white head that dissipates to patches with light lacing. Aroma of citrus and tropical fruit hops, orange, tangerine, pineapple, guava and passion fruit. Flavor is citrus and lightly tropical hops, orange, grapefruit and lemon rind, hints of muddled tropical fruit. Finishes with light to moderate citrus rind bitterness with a suggestion of dankness. Medium bodied with light creaminess. A very NE style hazy, with mostly fruit flavors and modest bitterness. This version leans towards citrus, particularly citrus rind with some good tropical notes in the aroma, but I'm not getting much in the flavor. Fruit juicy and low bitterness is not my style, but seems like a classic hazy NE style offering.
