16 oz can from Hops & Bottles. Hazy pour, light golden, head fades fast. Tropical fruit and funk for the aroma. Taste follows with the Idaho 7 bringing its earthy, musty, dank character to an otherwise sweet tropical punch. NEIPA with some mild dank.

The date on the bottom of the can is 06/25/19, so it has lasted well. Pours a cloudy amberish with swirls of foam in the Tripel Karmeliet tulip. Mouthfeel is light but exuberantly sudsy. Delightful aroma with cedar along with the green melon and citrus notes.

There is a tangerine taste in the finish that is quite pleasing. Did somebody say lemongrass? It's complex and flavorful but so drinkable. Smooth and creamy with just a touch of sweetness. Malty and mellow. Another winner in the series of these hoppy but elegant Dynomite concoctions. From Servall Liquor in San Diego.

Thinking I'm not super stoked on the Sorachi Ace hops in this one. A bit too vegetal. But could be due to age, my can is almost 2 months old. Really soft and full mouthfeel though, but a bit of acidity from higher carbonation.

16 oz. Can
PKGD: 06/25/19

Poured into a Tree House glass a pretty nice cloudy pale yellow color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger plus off-white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, guava, mango, melon, lemongrass), pretty nice diesel like. The taste is pretty nice hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, guava, mango, melon, lemongrass), pretty nice diesel like. Medium body, ABV hidden very nicely, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a very tasty brew. Orange Julius! Addictive! MilkShake! Nice to see it around here.

Pours a murky, opaque orange with a finger of white foam. Head retention is good. Aroma is deep and ripe notes of orange, tangerine, papaya, grapefruit and melon. There is a pinch of freshly ground black pepper. There is a little bready yeast congealed at the very back, which transitions the finish off of tropical fruit right at the tail-end. Flavor profile is tangerine, grapefruit, melon and mango with a little cracked black pepper and bready yeast at the back. Mouth feel is soft and lightly pillowy. The softness is cut by a light crispness. It has a medium-thick consistency. Overall, tropical fruit and citrus forward with a little cracked black pepper for depth keeps it drinking very interesting. It's not straight juice like so many NE IPAs.

Served in a 15.5oz Speigalau tulip from a 16oz can.

golly they have done it again! another masterpiece of a hazy ipa from fremont in this series, and a wonderful expression of sorachi ace, which remains one of my all time favorite hops, even if it seems like beers using it have been increasingly difficult to find over the last few years. this is really something, looks like most of the others, but has an amazingly unique hop profile. i think the sorachi goes really well with the citra and the idaho 7, they all do something a little different, but are playing more or less the same tune cool harmony. for me the lemon and dill and floral notes of the sorachi ace dominate in the nose, taking me back to when i met this hop for the first time. the idaho 7 adds some cool earthy vegetal element and some melon, while the familiar citra seems to unite the two with sweet lemon and tangerine notes, this is fruity and herbal at the same time, and the freshness is insane. the flavor is just as good, with the sorachi being the most forward for me, just because its so distinct, dill and verbena, lemon curd and starburst candy, just fantastic, and, interestingly, not all in a real brief climax either, but through the whole drink. bitterness is almost nonexistent here, but i dont miss it, the hop spectrum seems full somehow even without it. soft body like they all have, perhaps just a little more refined and mellow here, good carbonation, mostly dry, and just downright delicious. i could dry hop my piss with sorachi ace and find it appealing, but this is a brilliant use of this unique hop, among my favorites in the series so far!

16oz can purchased at Huckleberry's in Spokane. Canned on June 25, 2019, per the stamp on the bottom of the can.

Poured into a imperial shaker pint glass, this was a turbid yellow-gold color, with about an inch of bone white head on top. Spotty lace. Definitely looks like a hazy.

Soft tropical fruits, melons, and a sharp, grassy citrusy-ness greet the nose.

Taste is sweet, fruity and quite approachable. The sharp citrusy notes noted in the aroma kick in at the swallow, giving things a dry finish.

Medium bodied, with a creamier mouthfeel than is usual for an IPA.

This might be the most approachable, sessionable HFOD version I have had. It's not thw flavor bomb that others have been, but is extremely tasty and lends itself to repeats. I'm wishing Is bought more than one can.

L: Beautiful warm rich golden hue with a two finger lacy head and decent retention.

S: Nectarine and apricot merge to a single smooth fragrance.

T: Stonefruits with smooth citrus, semi sweet/dry with some mineral spirits. An easy drinker but a little muted overall.

F: Light overall but soft and smooth with a clean finish.

O: Really good but not the best HFOD. Still quite enjoyable.

Canned 6/25/19
L: Straw yellow in color with hazy appearance. A standard pour yielded about a finger and a half of a bubbly white cap that dissipated rapidly. Lacing looks great, coating the class and remaining clinging to it.
S: Fruity on the nose, with peach, nectarine, orange and grapefruit standing out. There is certain sweetness that I can't quite put my nose on, but it's there.
T: Really tasty. Fruit forward, consisting of the stonefruits and citrus mentioned above, alongside the addition of some pineapple and black pepper. Finish is semi-dry with lemongrass hop profile. Fruity sweetness lingers in the aftertaste, alongside a vanilla-like flavor.
F: Light in body, light in weight but still soft and loft. Very smooth and easy to drink yet having a somewhat clean and crisp finish, accompanied by a higher end of moderate carbonation. No booze presence, as expected.
O: I am very much enjoying this volume. Though it is hard to compare to the select ones I have had in the past, I think this is very enjoyable and flirts with the boundaries of being a daily drinker. The flavor is there, the abv is lower, and it is simply enjoyable. I would drink again and I recommend. Cheers!
