On tap at Bailey's the other day.
The beer pours a blackish brown color with decent head retention and lacing. This beer looks like an attractive ba stout, which is sort of what you would expect. On the nose, I pick up light orange peel, along with some dark chocolate, light coffee and bourbon, along with some noticeable vanilla. The flavor profile replicates the nose, except everything is a bit more focused and magnified. The orange component comes through a bit more on the palate as well (though it's not over the top). Mouthfeel is fairly full, with a moderately long finish. Alcohol is well integrated into the flavor profile, though you can certainly tell it's up there a bit.
Nice enough beer for sure, but a bit of a light weight effort in comparison to some of the other mind blowing ba beers Fremont makes.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
