The aroma is hoppy & citrusy, it pours a slightly cloudy golden color with a medium head with lacing. The hops provide a nice bitter taste with just a little bite. The IBUs are not listed but would guess they are about 70 - 80, very strong. If you like a hoppy beer, then this is one for you. Rated 1-9-2022

12oz can (dated 11/16/21) poured into 16oz tulip. Poured a very hazy straw yellow color with over 2 inches of long lasting white head that left light-moderate lacing.

A big burst of hops, mostly citrus, but noticeable froot as well as a wee touch of pine. No real malt presence. Same on the tongue, hop dominant with no grain.

The body was on the light side of medium, mostly smooth with a slight touch of coarseness, and a medium-sweet finish that dried out after a few moments. Drinkability was OK, I bought a sixer, and I'll finish the rest with no real issues, but I wasn't really left wanting another. Overall, if there is such a thing as a semi-murkbomb, this beer is it. Right between the Murksters and real IPAs.

Poured from a 12 ounce can into an IPA glass.

Look- Pale gold, mildly hazy, plentiful small particulate sediment, white fluffy head, above average head retention, average lacing.

Smell- Pineapple, pine resin, earthy.

Taste- Pine resin, herbal, weak pineapple, mildly bready.

Feel- Between thin and medium body, high bitterness, mildly creamy, average carbonation, moderately astringent.

Overall- Much to herbal and astringent for my palate.

12oz can from Boise Co-op. Golden pour, light haze, small frothy white head. Bright, hoppy aroma, piney, citrus, malty, dank. Taste starts sweet and fruity, citrus just before the hops kick in. Hop resin and dank notes take over from there, oily. Enjoyable.

22oz bottle dated 09.17.21:1973. Apparently this is Fremont's newest seasonal IPA. Pale golden, mostly clear, with good head retention. Aroma has an oldschool C-hop IPA profile. Flavor seems pleasant at crisp at first, but then it hits my palate with a ton of waxy, astringent, alpha-hop bitterness. Reminds me of older West coast double IPAs. Ooh, maybe my palate is still effed from covid or maybe this was a bad bottle, but I'm really not loving this like I did Ollie.

Fremont Brewing's website says Idaho 7 Cryo, Columbus, Centennial, and Simcoe hops. I've never found a cryo hop beer I thought highly of, and I think I've had mixed results with Idaho 7. Maybe this one just isn't for me. The multicolored hop cone on the label is pretty, though.

fantastic pint of beer here, one of the best new fremont beers in some time, which is really saying something. they use cryo idaho 7 hops in this, which makes it for me, its such a cool way to get the unique and intense flavors of this variety and in this instance anyway without the onion character i often get from the pellets and the wet hops when its used in those formats. of course it has a big high alpha c type hop complexion too, but thats all in the back half, its the almost crystallized idaho 7 that is the star up front, candied lemon peel, grapey sativa, and white dessert wine like sauternes or something, really interesting. the malt profile is light but not as simple as pale two row, its almost english to me, a little nutty, kilned and dry despite having some flavor. the ferment is immaculately clean, and the resinous hops ride through the aftertaste. juniper, bitter orange, and green tea. really cool beer, a different side of idaho 7 hops than i have known before, and thats what makes this special. the overall quality is through the roof, this keg was obviously real fresh, and i will be looking forward to my next drink of this one. a great addition to their lineup!

Milo sounds like the name of a Puppy or a hipster that only smokes organic kush. Either way, the Milo in this red can still slays like King Arthur on Viagra.

I’m gone.

Can from TJs.

A clear light orange with a dense off-white head with excellent retention and lacing this looks great. The nose is a blend of dank pine and citrus with a little tropical fruit. Orange, mandarin, melon are present. Moderate dankness that clashes with the fruit. The palate opens bitter and fruity with a blend of dank pine, mandarin, peach and a little melon. There's a creamy, doughy flavor present. Drying, bitter, a little astringent on the finish with lingering fruit and bitterness. Solid stuff.

Clear gold with four fingers of cream color head. Rings of lace appear as the levels drop.
Smell is green dank hops with a bit of bready malt.
Taste is green dank hops slight pine and a touch of bready malt.
Mouthfeel is medium with proper carbonation. The finish is dry and bitter.
Overall a tasty West Coast IPA. Packaged on 08/30/21.
