Perfectly crisp clear golden body. Wet white head flops its way down and leaves moderate lacing.
Nose has candied spices and citrus. Nice caramel malt backbone.
Flavour is a pleasant throwback. Nectar sweetness layered over a decently strong citrus bitterness. Finish carries the hop bitterness wonderfully and lingers like that.
Spritzy carbonation over a body that actually has some thin spots. That would be the one complaint I think I have, but it is a minor one, and arguably is part of the intention with an APA vs IPA anyway.
This is a lovely throw back. I enjoy it quite a bit. Cheers!
