BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL and BREWS FOR NEW AVENUES are national campaigns showcasing the impact the beer community can have in making a difference in the fight for racial justice and ending youth homelessness. Missions that are individually important and deeply connected. While 13% of the general population is Black more than 40% of those experiencing houselessness are Black. The issue of homelessness is another example of where systemic racism, historic and current disparities are examples of where we need to do the important work of creating equity and continue to fight for racial justice. PROCEEDS FROM THIS BEER WILL BE DONATED TO ORGANIZATIONS FOCUSED ON THESE MISSIONS. EMPATHY. ACTION. LOVE. REPEAT.
Down & Dirty: 2-Row Pale and Munich malts with Chinook, Centennial, Amarillo, Citra, and Idaho 7 Cryo hops and Dextrose.
IBU: 60
Color: Hazy light orange
Aroma: Sweet aromatics, with an array of tropical fruit and orange citrus notes
Flavor: Mildly sweet and bitter, with subtle lingering sweetness in medium body with some warming and mouthwatering.

16oz can (dated 11/15/21) poured into 16oz tulip. Poured the expected fully murky and turbid orange of the style, with over an inch of white head that good retention and light lacing.
The aroma was also as expected, the generic frooty hop scent that identifies the style, with a touch of musty dankness.
Same on the tongue, just another murkbomb.
The body was the typical light and smooth.
Drinkability was OK, but a bit hampered by the mustiness.
Overall, just another average murkster. But, the goals, and some proceeds, of this brew are very worthy, so I gave the overall score a slight bump. Sue me.
