Poured into a Tree House glass a very nice cloudy pale yellow/orange color, very nice carbonation, with a very nice thick/creamy one-finger plus off-white head, which also leaves some very nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a very nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, peach, papaya, nectarine, apricot, melon), very nice diesel like. The taste is very nice hoppy, malty, with a very nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, peach, papaya, nectarine, apricot, melon), very nice diesel like. Medium body, ABV hidden very nicely, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a very tasty beer. Orange Julius! Addictive! MilkShake!

i had this pretty shortly after number 43 and didnt like it nearly as much, on the lighter side for the hazy types, way lighter than many others in this series, but not incredibly well refined to me, a dull orange color in the glass, a fizzy white soda head from the tap, and a ton of cryo hops, not even sure i have seen columbus as a cryo before, it certainly cranks the saturation point, but this is almost more spicy than fruity to me, even with the obvious orange and citrus notes, and definitely carries a weed note, papaya, lumber, white bread on the grain side, clean ferment for the most part, relatively bitter too, not green or harsh, but intense on the hops even if the bitterness is appropriate. as it warms i get lemon, yellow peach, and sweet white wine, the grain stays back and the oily intensity of the hops ramps up, its palate coating, simcoe driven but pretty dynamic, but also kind of muddled to me overall, and bold but not as distinctive as the best of these. if this came from just about anyone else id be into it more, but fremont, and this series, have established an extremely high standard, and coming right off the massively unique and bright number 43, this one didnt quite live up to that. good carbonation, long hoppy finish, some lingering bitterness. good, even very good, but not a standout in this incredible series for me...

16oz can from Brewers Haven. Pale hazy yellow, skin of finely beaded white head. Aroma is light citrus with a dank undercurrent. Taste is citrus zesty, a little grapefruit, a little lemon, dankness creeping in around the edges. Bready malts provide a nice canvas for this hop showcase.

Pours a hazy straw yellow color with a fresh one finger head . Smell is fruity and tropical . Taste has notes of melon, stone fruits ,citrus and papaya. Mouth feel is soft and hoppy more dry than sweet in the finish.

16oz can, pours nearly clear pale gold, hazy in the glass though; nose of floral and zesty hops, balanced with oats, wheat, and cereal grains. Herbs, mint, grapefruit, smooth, spice, earth. Good stuff all around, one of the better HfoD I've tried of late.
