Poured into a weizen glass. Pours a lightly hazy, light golden yellow with a coarse grained, three finger white head with chunky lacing. Aroma of husky wheat, clove, coriander and orange zest. Flavor is wheat and pilsner malt, clove, coriander, mild citrus hops, banana, orange and lemon; spicy witbier finish with light hop bitterness. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. A spicy witbier with the classic wheat, clove, coriander and banana but with a little barley added to the wheat and more citrus character. Hints of medicinal herbs in the background. Refreshing. I though the can label of "spiced witbier" was redundant, but this is spicier than a traditional one and more interesting.
