A 16 ounce draft pour into a shaker pint at a public house.
Look- Black, medium brown creamy head, opaque, above average head retention and lacing.
Smell- Coffee, roasted malt, between low and medium strength of scent.
Taste- Coffee, cocoa, roasted malt, between medium and high strength of flavor.
Feel- Full body, highly creamy, moderately mouth warming, mildly mouth coating.
Overall- This was a very enjoyable beer, but I prefer the non-nitro version. I didn’t think this beer had as dynamic of a flavor profile or nose as regular Dark Star.

On nitro at Stanley Beer Hall. Poured a foamy, opaque, oil black color with a large head of light brown bubbles. It left sheets of lace. It smelled of chocolate, roasted coffee, toffee and caramel. Great roasted malt taste with chocolate and toffee flavors.
