Copenhagen 23/11 2024. 35,5 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. A blue can with a silver boiler and the name of beer and brewery.
Pours unclear - almost opaque - orange with a big white head. Stable. Settles as 2 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of ripe Stone fruits mingling with a bit of zesty citrus fruit. Ripe peach and apricot. Citrus and lemon.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly this, watery, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a light sweetness followed by a strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and a tad thin. Lingers for a bit. Finish is dry.
Tart and bitter - but a little thin.

been seeing this one around and its definitely on the rise, a new hop forward beer from fremont always gets my intrigue up. this is pretty basic, malty and simple, drinkable enough but not real light as they go, a little old school it seems in its build, but a versatile beer in the food context, and a pretty repeatable pint, not requiring a ton of analysis. obviously pale like this has gone out of style, heavier feeling, richer on the malt side, more bitter than flavor from the hops, but i will always have a bit of a soft spot for it, and the quality is good here. not quite clear, a lighter shade of copper, and a falling almost inch of white froth from the tap. it smells like caramel and biscuity malt, almost english for a second, and then piney on the hop side with some back end bite and dankness, balanced but sturdy, especially for its restrained abv. the flavor is similar, toasted bread, light cardboard and metallic character for a second in the middle which could be a freshness thing but also cheapens it some, then some late sweetness from the malt with the hops coming in woodsy and northwestern and high alpha, into the bite they bring, it hits quick and fades slow, bold even for what it is, slightly weedy, late citrus when it warms a bit, but its less about the parts here and more about the whole, it washes greasy pizza down effortlessly, handles spice well, and isnt as filling as i am making it sound with the malt. a little dusty at the end, maybe a partial line pour or something, still good. nobody is ever going to put this one in the freemont hall of fame, but its solid, and it brings back good memories even if its new beer. i wont turn one down in the future...

Poured from a 12 ounce can dated 10-24-23 into a tulip glass.
Look- Deep gold, very hazy, sudsy slightly off white head, plentiful visible particulate, average head retention and lacing.
Smell- Pine, grain, floral, medium strength of scent.
Taste- Pine, grain, slight citrus, slight sweetness, between weak and medium strength of flavor.
Feel- Between thin and medium body, average carbonation, moderately bitter, mildly sweet, mildly creamy, moderately dry finish.
Overall- This beer provided a satisfactory drinking experience, but was very simple and well below my expectations for this brewery.

12oz can from Brewers Haven. Golden pour, thin white foamy head. Light aroma, equal parts hops and malts. Taste presents a smooth blend of hops and malts, sweet, bitter coexisting in harmony. So well balanced

Lager-like sourness with very light body AND flavor. Not sure what they were going for here but I'm not a fan, and I normally love Freemont brewing. If you like sours this might be for you, it's like a lager, sour, and pale were mixed. Very strange.

Clear amber brew with plenty of foam in the Chimay chalice. Pleasing sudsy mouthfeel with a light body. Starts with malty flavors, nutty and biscuity. A touch of sweetness and a resiny note. Even kind of winey with a grapey taste and some lime peel. Overall, this is a more flavorful and more elegantly hopped sort of Pale Ale. Moderate bitter aftertaste. From the 12 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Dated 08/07/23.
