Pours a fairly clear golden color with a decent head that stays. The head is creamy looking and clings to the glass almost to the finish. Aroma is hoppy, not quite citrus though. Smooth and slightly sweet like a fresh hopped beer should be. The bitterness level is almost perfect. Very good fresh hopped. Rated 10-18-2023

this is choice, really good beer, lighter than i remember others in this series being in terms of hop intensity, but super well refined, obviously a wet hop thing, a great combination of now famous varietals which are both at their best in here, and this is extremely drinkable, just mellower than i feel like i remember it being in the past. quite clear and real pale, a golden glow to this even in low light with sparkling combination and a long lasting layer of white froth on tip like beaten egg whites. aroma and flavor run in parallel, oily sweet citra hops with meyer lemon and lemon curd character, sticky dank simcoe with bitter grapefruit, pine sap, and subtle gin notes, they go so well together, and the normally more intense simcoe does not crowd out the citra at all, they are in concert the whole way. i like the body being so light and the beer being dry overall, it allows not just the hop flavor but their special wet hop texture come through unimpeded. real clean, simple in a good way, fruity and almost candied in the center, drier later and with some bitterness. fremont strikes again with a hoppy beer, their bread and butter, elite quality here and more distinctive than expected for hop varietals we all know so well...

Always a good one! Clean and clear golden body with a soapy and bubbly white head. Fresh aromatics, herbal and forrest-y with pine and lemongrass, earthy grapefruit, mild tropical fruity notes and citrus rind.
