lighter than a lot of these have been in terms of haziness and body, a solid expression of el dorado, juicy, faintly candied and sweet, with big cantaloupe and mandarin orange notes, but overall not a standout in the series for me, much as i like the drinkability and tidiness, i keep on looking forward to each iteration. a little darker than blonde, airy headed and well carbonated with huge bubbles but also a tad thin looking and feeling, they must have backed the oats and wheat way down. the nose is zested orange, orange candy, and juicy melon, a little key lime thing with it, tropical and summery, fresh, and punchy, not a ton from the grain but also its not out of balance, very modern, but almost in the pale ale range to me. the flavor is so obviously el dorado, everything we all know and love about this varietal, some citra is evident too, less of the strata to me which is fine, it can be dominant at times and in many beers has not necessarily played well with others. its neat how notes of pineapple and passion fruit come out of these hops when placed together, a little coconut thing, the faintest astringency as it warms, a honey note from the grain, and real low bitterness, its simple and pretty clean, fresh and refreshing, and almost has the mouthfeel of a la croix, huge bubbles. a little oily linger on the palate, nothing green or harsh, even sweet at times, lots of fresh orange on the finish. nice beer, less distinctive maybe than the best of these, but its aways cool to check in with this series, awesome that its still going strong!

Poured into a Trillium glass a pretty nice cloudy pale yellow color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger plus off-white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a very nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, peach, papaya, guava, nectarine, apricot), very nice diesel like. The taste is very nice hoppy, malty, with a very nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, peach, papaya, guava, nectarine, apricot), very nice diesel like. Medium body, ABV hidden very nicely, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a very tasty beer. Orange Julius! Addictive! MilkShake!

Pours a very bright and hazy golden color with a moderately foamy head. Ripe tropical fruit aroma. Very well balanced flavor between the malt and hops. Juicy fruit flavors but a nice hop bite. Moderate mouthfeel with lively carbonation. Overall, a superb hazy IPA!

16oz can from Hops & Bottles. Hazy golden pour, thick fluffy white head, light lacing. Zesty, hoppy aroma, notes of citrus, pineapple, lemon. Taste is fruity with a playful zestiness, juicy, and a tang that lasts through to the finish. Tasty AF. And crushable too. But don't, savor every sip.

Lots of sediment and yeast clumps in this 16oz can, more so than I'm familiar with in this series. Thick white cap of lacing as well. Unique nose and palate full of melon and unripe lime, herbal and minty and earthy at the same time, with lots of impressions of stone fruit like apricot, as well as hard candy. Oaty, wheaty malt base is behind all that, but the El Dorado really shines on this one. Not my favorite hop combinations, but very unique and interesting.
